A waterfall stop that felt peaceful and pretty.
The Japanese Tea Garden added a calm daytime break to the trip. The waterfall, stone paths, greenery, and little photo corners made it feel slower and more peaceful than the busy River Walk. It is one of those stops where you do not need a packed plan — just walk, pause, and enjoy the view.
ZOO & REPTILES
Snakes, turtles, lizards, and a surprisingly fun animal stop.
The zoo side of the trip was fun in a completely different way. The reptile photos made this section stand out — snakes curled under warm lights, turtles stacked together, and lizards resting in quiet corners. It gave the page a little adventure between the city, garden, and food memories.

Easy 2-day San Antonio plan
Day 1 evening: River Walk stroll, then choose Paesanos for a more romantic Italian dinner or Rainforest Cafe for a playful themed meal before a slow walk along the canal.
